Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and longtime Harry Styles collaborator Mitch Rowland stumbled upon Charles Mingus' seminal jazz album The Clown when scrolling through his co-worker's iPod at a pizza restaurant. He was immediately hooked and played it on-loop, mesmerized by classic tracks like "Haitian Fight Song" and the album's title song. He's come back to The Clown throughout his career and marveled at its audacious take on jazz playing and song structure.
