As always, there are no hard and fast rules about whether or not you should have children at your wedding, but hopefully our chat will help you figure out what's suitable for your wedding, how to discuss the topic with your guests, and, if you end up inviting kids along, how to make it a more enjoyable day for them!

Wedding dilemma: We had a lovely email from a groom who’s having a same-sex wedding. He writes, “My significant other wants us to get ready together the morning of the wedding, but I'm conflicted with this. On one hand, I think we would have some great wedding photos and it would be sweet on our video, but on the other hand, I want to get ready with my wedding party and feel a momentum of adrenaline seeing him during the ceremony. There are no dresses involved as we are both wearing suits but I still think the thrill might be nice!”
