As physicians mentorship is a part of our journey. Guiding future female physicians into healthy and successful careers where they feel fulfilled is a gift that keeps giving. The greatest lesson from mentorship is that learning doesn't happen in one direction! While it is our responsibility to provide support and guidance we should also leave room to learn from our mentees.

Our guest is a vibrant and inspiring woman who uses her social media platform to help so many others get through this thing called life while pursuing her own academic goals. She is a Canadian pre-med student, mother and a wife. She dreams of being a family medicine physician. One who actually connects with her patients and recognizes the growing disparities they have to overcome to receive care. #Motherhood has energized her journey. She sits down with us to share the pieces of her puzzle. From her almost 3 year old boy and the 18,000 steps on Fitbit she gets in , to her ability to recognize when she needs help, to her personal journey in self care.
