At the heart of his world is his wife, Kelly, and their large, blended family. Steve's sanctuary has always been the water, leading to a passion for ultra-marathon swimming, a testament to human endurance. His Christian faith is a guiding light, adding depth to his narrative.

Overcoming addiction and celebrating over 12 years of sobriety has shaped his mission to help others. Steve's purpose-driven swims raise funds for long-term sober living facilities and mental health counseling services, especially for the foster community. The "Swim the Seven Oceans Challenge" in March 2025 is his next quest, offering visually stunning landscapes and suspenseful storytelling, perfect for episodic content.
