Wondering what to write in emails/LinkedIn requests when you are networking to find a job? have a look at these templates in this article which you can adapt to your style.

This is a good time to update your LinkedIn profile and make sure you are using keywords that recruiters are using to search for profiles like yours. Is your profile visible to recruiters? Check-in your privacy settings so that recruiters can see you and that you have used the right keywords. Look at the jobs on LinkedIn you are interested in to see what keywords they are using and you can incorporate in your profile (especially your title and summary).
