Carl Lawson's contract status was one of the unresolved questions of the New York Jets offseason. We now know the defensive end will be back with the Jets in 2023 on a reduced contract. Lawson's contract will also push much of his remaining 2023 salary to future seasons to maximize the Jets' cap space.
